The Developing Person Through the Life Span A Virtual Workshop Experience with Dr. Saday Barrett, The Renaissance Doctor
Human development is not a straight line; it’s a spiral of becoming. This immersive virtual workshop invites educators, therapists, parents, teens and cultural curators to explore the full arc of the human journey, from infancy to legacy. Grounded in developmental psychology and enriched by cultural wisdom, each session blends theory, storytelling, and reflection to illuminate how we grow, adapt, and transform across the life span.
Led by Dr. Saday Barrett—psychotherapist, educator, coach, author, poet, and founder of Peak Potential Counseling and Consulting and The Podcast, Adolescence: What Every Parent, Teacher and Teen Should Know, this five-part series offers a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive lens on identity, attachment, adolescence, adulthood, and aging. Participants will engage with major developmental theories, explore intergenerational narratives, and reflect on their own life stages through guided exercises and script writing.
Whether you are supporting youth, are a youth, navigating midlife, or honoring the wisdom of elders, this workshop offers tools, insights, and space to deepen your understanding of the developing person—within yourself and your community.
